Dear Middle School staff...

  1. meanyheadmans: You are actually so funny.
  2. Ms. C C: +kolop1 many schools districts but also depends on if the school district is in a rural or urban areas (population and overcrowding)
  3. Marionette Du Auguste: Mine was weirder. K-6 7-8 9-12
  4. Marionette Du Auguste: Chuck Price unfortunately there are more parents than there are educators. In a realistic best-case scenario the educators would be responsible for teaching responsibility and other things like it (such as basic sex-ed and safety) in a standardized and comprehensive way, so that as many people are equipped to enter their adulthood better than their parents did, avoiding the issues of generationally perpetuated abuse and neglect that has plagued human civilization for millennia.
  5. Indecence: Truth
  6. Marionette Du Auguste: Florida teachers in general are practically on food stamps and they’re expected to pay for most of their own classroom supplies...if you ever wonder why kids in school come out saying that things are awful and the teachers don’t care, and why each year it seems to get worse and worse, it’s because teachers are working more hours with more kids with less resources and they’re exhausted.
  7. Ms. C C: Most school districts are divided into Elementary K-5, Middle school is 6-8, and high school 9-12.
  8. BigWater: THANK YOU ! I work at a Middle School ! That ACTUALLY SUMMED IT UP RIGHT THERE! Lol LesssGoooo
  9. hayward johnson: What about dear special Ed school staff they deal with a lot
  10. Ms Kay: Thank You for your sacrifice & expertise!!!
  11. Fat Samurai Productions: BUTTS!
  12. Hollywood Sunset: We have pre-school up to 4 years old. Kindergarten at 5, 1st grade at 6, 2nd grade at 7, 3rd grade at 8, 4th grade at 9, 5 th grade at 10, 6th grade at 11, 7th grade at 12. ... then 8th, 9th, 10th, 11, 12th is the last year of high school at 17. There are some variations by a year one way or the other, but I think I got the general ages right.
  13. Chip James: +Ms. C C Thank you very much. Being anonymously kind is a special thing. You're probably fantastic in real life. I hope in the future we can implement a more effective system for the sake of all of our futures.
  14. Jan Gunter: I retired from teaching Middle School for 42 years this past June. I love you, Josh Pray!
  15. Mad Rasta: I hear you Josh!! I hate middle school kids! Always out there cussing and talking like a drunk sailor. And no, middle school needs funding support like crazy. I hate to hear parents complaining about money they have to come out of pocket for.
  16. MedievalWarfare: Ree Vize going through public high school would help her get experience with the brokenness of the real world. That would be worth it to help her development.
  17. Frosty VII: “5 reasons I need more white friends”
  18. xɐɯᴉlƆ ɐɯɯoƆ: I can't like, its at 69
  19. Haegla Info: the best thing about your comedy is that you dont put anybody down when you speak. very rare nowadays. i love it!
  20. Schweppes: You call them staff cause they don’t actually teach anything.
  21. BaJezusTrip: Bruh your so funny, you remind me of my friend
  22. Frank Kujawski: God did not give me the gift to teach that age. Thank God he did give it to others.
  23. Sir Smartypants Ruel: The middle schoolers are a bunch of wise-crack know it all pre teens and the teachers and staff all need to be thanked!!!
  24. Christa Marie: My son does that same dance! 🤣 he’s 14
  25. Santa 1738: First
  26. Ree Vize: +MedievalWarfare My daughters both understand that the world is broken. We homeschool but don't stay at home. LOL Weekly trips (to museums, nature reserves, live performances, and we've participated in some protests locally) and they've been volunteering at a local nursing home and soup kitchen for a few years too...so they have the opportunities to speak with a wide range of individuals (age and fortunes) that many publicly educated folks don't have. I like to think that they will make a difference in the world, whether or not they participate in public education.
  27. XOXONAOTCHAN _: Middle school almost made me killmyself. Middle school sucks and the public school system is fucked
  28. Ms. C C: Lo siento...*purple hugs from me to you*
  29. Chuck Price: Not trying to be a jerk, but you know who used to teach children things like responsibility? Their parents. What's worrisome these days is what the "educators" are teaching your kids that you don't know about.
  30. Ree Vize: Middle school is where my elder daughter's life fell apart, and the public school environment was aggravating the situation. After exploring all other avenues, we pulled her out, and I began homeschooling her. That was nearly 4 years ago. We were in a position (financial and employment) to be able to make these changes with just a little change in our budget and lifestyle. It's not for everyone though. We pulled our younger daughter out of public school when she finished elementary, but she's requested to go back to school when she gets to the high school level, and I'm considering it (that's still a couple of years away).
  31. Keystrokes: Middle school was pretty good but a lot of the staff power tripped
  32. evilal20: Thank you, even though I was a janitor for a year. I'm now a sanitation worker at a Natural Foods warehouse.
  33. Hello Friend: My middle school is voted one of the worst in the area lol
  34. kolop1: +Ms. C C Are they or just is some areas? My schools were k-8 and 9-12. Middle school just seems unnecessary.
  35. Motorcycle Momma: Middle school- the purgatory of child education!
  36. Paperclip: I’m dying laughing at the fortnite dances
  37. 15 is legal In Europe: How the hell are americans 12 in 7th grade? In my country you are 16 in 9th grade
  38. Forest Nymph Confessions: Bless you! You're a saint, no joke. I could hardly tolerate middle schoolers when I was IN middle school...
  39. MedievalWarfare: Middle school is where my life fell apart; I can’t support Middle School staff, sorry.
  40. Samyul M: josh pray for president
  41. Graham Chapman: Middle school is just all around terrible
  42. Paperclip: Bro you should do a stand up comedy tour cuz I would go
  43. Chip James: I can list on one hand the educators and staff , in middle school, that truly cared about childhood development. Several are lunch ladies and one is a bus driver. I understand things are shitty for educators in America. I fell into that awkward gray area where people presumed I was smart(am not), because i could temporarily regurgitate knowledge drilled into me, which basically meant that i was ignored so the more needy children could be assisted. These years in my life, other sociopathic and abused children, were basically given free reign to torment. So much so that my entire grade level became an anti bullying homogenization where you were (mostly) excluded from the herd for being a douche. So in turn, no thank you middle school educators. If you cannot perform the basic parameters of your job, due to insufficient resources or otherwise, quit your job. If being around adolescent children is torture for you, work somewhere else. This is a bit of a rant, maybe things are better now, i certainly am now that I'm free of that fucking smelly hell hole :)
  44. GITLIT TOO: I been working at a elementary school for 16 years. Teach pick sides and have favorites
  45. alan316: lol too funny!
  46. Laura Hogan: I love teaching Middle School, every day! It's not for everyone, but for those of us who are called to it, it is everything.... Thanks for this!
  47. Paperclip: Middle school is harder than high school don’t try to argue with me
  48. Ashley Dixon: Middle school is hell on earth. Was for me ..... and my poor teachers 😈
  49. Zack B.: Thank you
  50. Jen Stewart: Wonderful. You should do us homeschoolers too! Lol! That’s a lot of fun! Some of us have 5 kids. We do kindergarten through 12th grade with each one. Love it and hate it but it’s done with love!!! Many reasons to do it. I have two kids. One was bullied so bad in school, had severe adhd and was falling behind. Needed individual tutoring that I couldn’t afford. The other was diagnosed at the same time as a type 1 brittle diabetic with complications that the school had lots of trouble handling. Homeschool was our best option. Six years on and we are thriving in a wonderful co-op homeschooling group.
  51. kolop1: I had grade school and high school. What is this middle school you speak of which you speak?
