Welcome back to this episode of Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch except, this time, it is actual multiplayer gameplay. We actually switched the game to two player so that we could play the built in multiplayer for this game rather than just both playing as mario. This mode is actually pretty cool because one person gets to play as Mario and the other gets to play as Cappy. Cappy is actually operated separately from Mario and does not need to actually wait for Mario to do actions in order to play. Cappy is a bit overpowered and does not take any damage, however the balance comes in because mario doesn't have really any way to defend himself without Cappy. This games for a pretty interesting multiplayer experience where you have to work together to complete goals and Cappy has to watch what Mario is doing in order to protect him from possible harm. We both think that this form of gameplay is much better than what we were doing before where we would both just have control over Mario and fight for power over the mind controlled enemies. In this episode we also complete the second world and have enough moons to move on after defeating the large rabit woman boss and her golden chain chomp; however, we decide to stick around a bit and collect some other moons that are avaialble.Brent and Brett are the hosts of the Game Or Bust show (aka GorB by the community), a let's play channel with occasional other stuff that goes on.
